Even just speaking SUVs, someone might need more towing and a Suburban might be a better fit. I personally can't afford any of these but for 70-100k range and 200-300k, I would not get either of the vehicles you mentioned. The extra benefits of an SUV don't appear to me at all. For the 70-100k range, I'd probably get a C8 stingray or Eray. If I had a higher budget, Z06 or the GT3 or wait for the new ZR1. For the GT3 price, though, I could get a Z06 and a 4runner/Land cruiser.
Other might to consider your suggestions and that Macan or Caynenne might fit well for their needs.

I get it. If you've consigned yourself to an SUV and you don't want to get a Model Y or an Ioniq 5, the Macan is a good option. The Audi A4 B8 Avant is a great vehicle, even if VW had to go and mess with it by adding weight, oversized body panels, a lifted suspension, and a Porsche badge.
Now, there are situations where someone would want to go with an SUV (body-on-frame). Not arguing that.
