Personal Finance (Not Investing) • 10 year old wants to sit with me when I do taxes . Should I let him?

Taxes are for adults. Buy him a monopoly game, let him invite the playground committee to play with him.
Kids are naturally curious about the world around them, including the adult world.

Other kids don't shut down this natural curiosity, but adults, if their not careful sure can.

Parenting is personal, so I'm not going down that road here of critiquing other's parenting decisions/styles. I get paid plenty to do that professionally.

I will say, in retrospect, some of the best parenting decisions I made was to follow my kids' naturally curious lead.
