I need a bank for business and personal accounts. Here's what I've tried/found so far.
BoA - higher minimums to avoid fees on biz accounts, and only lets you transfer a smaller amount between business and personal per day, and seem to have low ACH limits. They also require you to have separate log-ins, which is kind of a pain. I've found their customer service to be less than stellar once the account is open too.
Chase - l think they are the least evil mega bank, but they want you to come into a branch to open anything joint or business (at least in my case they can't open the biz account online). Probably because they want to try and sell you. They also have a semi-convoluted way of linking business and personal accounts. I found their phone customer service isn't great.
Credit Unions - Not for me. The ones near me tend to lack decent digital features, and doing more complex things (like transferring big amounts of $ or sending wires) is more complicated than a big bank.
Other options that are close (though having a branch close isn't a deal breaker): BMO, Chase, FirstBank, UMB Bank, Wells Fargo, US Bank, KeyBank. I looked at UMB because they provide the backbone for Fidelity's banking services, but from what I see they don't offer Zelle, which is almost a dealbreaker.
