As a more general comment, Kitces.com posted an article recently that talks about the current situation with POA and financial institutions. It has a lot of useful information and talks about a lot of the aspects that have been known to catch people by surprise (in a bad way) on bogleheads.
As typical for a Kitces article, it is usefully thorough (far more so than the usual internet article), but takes a bit of time to sit down and work through. But you might want to try to read it before the attorney meeting, just in case it brings up something you want to discuss with the attorney.
