As far as I know, Tricare is not a secondary payer for insurance until you are on Medicare. Then it's Tricare for Life and covers Medicare co pays and deductibles. Not sure if that's the same with FEHB.

I used Tricare Select instead of my mega corp insurance. Mega corp offered a Tricare supplement to pay co pays.

Tricare Select covered two out of state surgeries with my preferred specialists.
