Have you evaluated the initial cost of geothermal heat pumps relative to other options and what are the anticipated savings? My employer built a hybrid heating system with water source heat pumps using radiant floor and air handling units with a combination of solar collectors and geothermal vertical wells. All this for a 2700 sf building back in 2010 at a cost of $200,000 for just the heating system. The system has been plagued with issues and the result is that we use electric resistance space heaters. In the process of gutting the heat pumps. My suggestion would be to simplify where you can. And to consider the cost and performance of alternatives such as min splits.
