It's a heck of a lot more nuanced than that. It's not the bottleneck, but it is a factor.It's pretty much irrelevant at this point. There are at least 60 million homes with garages and just 2.5 million EVs. A shortage of garages isn't the bottleneck.
Put it this way, I have a garage (although probably 90% of those in my neighborhood don't) and likely will be buying an EV for our next vehicle. If I did not have a garage, 0% chance we'd even be considering it. I know I am not alone.
