Personal Investments • 401K Options Not Great - Need Advice!

Thanks, All! At age 34, I wasn't planning on bonds yet. What is your recommendation for bond allocation at this point?
Really a personal decision. I've been helping my daughter with her 401K (She's only 22) and we have her only in an SP500 fund and International fund now. To my way of thinking, this will be good enough until she's somewhere around mid-career when she's in her early 40's. At that point, I think it will start to make sense to add bonds for her. How much, if any, and at what rate of increase is, as it always is, up to her. But if I'm still around, cognitively adept, and she asks, I'll be more than willing to throw some ideas her way.

There are an infinite number of "good enough" choices that are low cost.

Cheers.
