If interest rates go down again then so will dividends. WL trails both going up and going down. Never reaching the top for instance dividends are not as high as myga rates but never lower than the guarantees. If we go low for long ago possibly other companies will have rates similar to Ohio national.

All companies that release dividend rates do so in nov/dec for following year so u coukd get your new illustration now if desired.
Universal Life doesn't pay dividends, does it? Just interest. I don't think my Allstate policy has increased the rate of interest as rates have gone up in other products.

Correct ULs pay interest

It is slow and rare for insurance companies to increase interest rates once they have ratcheted them down on older policies
