Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Easier to pay bills with credit card?

It makes sense to pay almost EVERY bill with a credit card since:
1 It is easier to do so .
2 Safer, since the liability is transfered to the issuer, and you don't have to worry about double charges putting your checking account in the red.
3 If you have a cash back CC and it's rate is >= fee, you should use it.
4 You get 30 to 60 days of float.
5 CC sign up bonus and 0% opportunities
6 Purchase and other protections.
+1

That's what we do.
Yes it's easier than writing a check.

#2 seems to be referring to a debit card.

Also, spreading one's cc or debit numbers all over many vendors increases the odds that a bad guy could get a hold of it. They would rather have that than a bank account number for immediate fraudulent transactions.

At the very least I don't think keeping debit account numbers with a vendor is a good idea.
