Tax (to state/locality) is separate consideration, to be outside of the "deal" price.Wife so impressed, she wanted another Civic sedan, which we got yesterday (2025 model).
Got the same color she liked at around $1200 below msrp.
i.e. It's easy for a dealer to offer $800 below "MSRP", if we define "MSRP" as not only (manufacturer MSRP + dest) but also a $500 admin fee, and $900 in ~worthless dealer add ons (floormats and the like).
