Yes my first amortized payment will be at the end of Sept for $1794. All good things come to an end.So my loan was supposed to convert to amortized payments this month and I received a few emails warning me to that effect. But the auto payment just went through and it was still only in the amount of the interest only payment showed on the payment portal, which continues to project interest only payments into the future.
Has anyone actually had their loan switch to amortized payments? I'm not sure whether I should draw attention to this or just continue to enjoy the extra float. If I wanted to pay the amortized amount I'm not sure where I would even find it, other than the conversion warning email which showed this month's payment but presumably will not continue into the future.
