Personal Investments • Start Up Investment Question

A wise person once told me to never invest in something like this unless you are perfectly happy with losing it all. If 25k or 100k makes no difference to your financial well being (or your family’s) then feel free - I.e. can you afford it ? My other thought is 25k won’t move their needle though - so what other fund raising, VC is investing?

Agree. Few red flags. One is a phase 3 trial usually takes years as does FDA approval.

Expect to never see the money again.

Expect your shares to get diluted by future funding rounds, and for your shares to be non preferred.

If you are trying to help your child, the money is likely better spent directly than by investing in this.
