I was just thinking recently… best thing I ever did was “not fight” a contentious divorce. Meh, it was well over 20 years ago. But the nickels and dimes now mean almost nothing. My ex also wanted to “keep the house”. Okay cool. House got appraised, and I got a check for 50% of the equity. I will likely die alone.. but my ex and I are close friends now. So I got that going for me, which is nice ![:beer]( "beer")
