I like my pixel phones because they will work in Europe out of the box.OP update. I did upgrade my phone a few months ago because my phone would not let me add necessary apps. I was going on a rick steves tour of Europe and couldn't download his app. I also couldn't download my robot vacuum cleaner and had to rely on my husband's phone to use it. I decided that I would get the newest Samsung phone because it would not need to be replaced for a longer time. The biggest improvement is that it charges super quickly. It's nice to finally have the apps I need..
A new Samsung smartphone will translate in real time during a phone call. Select English to German , and you can call someone with any cellphone, and you speak English and they hear the translated German, and vice versa. That is very powerful.
