Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Opinion on IDX - Credit monitoring system

I got "the letter" from Change Healthcare today. So frustrating to constantly be told about how my info may be leaked.

I am already getting free monitoring from Experian Identity for an Equifax breach, Experian Identity for a pharma breach and Equifax for a Johnson and Johnson breach. I froze my credit many years ago and it is still frozen at Equifax, Experian and Trans Union. The data I had to provide for these 3 monitorings was very personal and I wondered how well do they protect my data. So far, none of the 3 have reported much of anything of importance. I order my credit report from the big 3 on a rotating 4 month basis so I don't order more than 1 per year from any of them, at one time you only got 1 free report per year but I think that has changed. I checked IDX and it is a legit company but doesn't seem to get great reviews.

Since I have 3 different monitorings ongoing, does it make sense to add a 4th. I suppose "it can't hurt" but based upon how much info I had to add for the other 3 I question if it is worth the time spent?
See the 3 posts above yours. :)
