I have the SE2 and my wife has the SE3, neither has had any issues. Even though hers has 5G, in practice, traveling all over the country, we haven't seen any difference. At home, of course, we have Wifi, so 5G is irrelevant (for us). Personally, I've stopped buying used iPhones, for the same reason I don't recommend buying used Honda or Toyotas, they just hold their value too well to be good buys. If you look at how long Apple supports the devices and therefore how many years you can get out of them, a new phone has about the same value as used. My wife's SE3 was $479 with 128GB storage, which seemed like a good value (if you have the cash).
