Indeed. The 4% rule does not work for folks with AUM advisors. Not that it was a great rule to begin with, but that's another conversation.And don't forget about a lower safe withdrawal rate too. So you'll lose out on the compounding, with a 15% lower end account balance. And then if you can only withdraw 4% per year safely but have to pay 1% to an advisor, that's a 25% pay cut in your retirement budget. 1*.85*.75= 63% of the retirement budget due to 1% fees.
