Personal Investments • Should I sell bond fund shares I bought at 2021 interest rates?

Personally, I would wait for the bond funds to turn around. I have the same problem with my bond funds. After the government’s reckless spending spree caused the increase in inflation & then the Fed to raise interest rates, the bond funds took a huge hit.
Apparently there is talk of the Fed lowering rates, possibly starting in September, which should help with our bond fund prices.
I say, wait it out!
Getting a bit political aren't we ... I agree that large deficits are inflationary but I am surprised the mods let this post stand ... reckless spending spree or reckless tax cuts both can be a problem.
I can understand your point but you should message the moderators rather than discuss it here, since moderation isn't an allowed topic.
