There are no buying or selling commissions (there is a small fee imposed by the SEC when selling*) and securities on the exchange settle in T+1. This means if you sell during market hours (9:30am - 4:00pm Eastern on regular trading days) the funds will be available on Tuesday.Questions about SGOV
I pay state taxes, and use FDLXX. I am interested in moving some $ to SGOV for the higher rate. I understand the very small bid/ask spread. Are there any trading commissions or costs involved in buying and selling SGOV at Fidelity? If you sell SGOV on Monday, when are the funds available in your account?
