That is exactly what I have been doing- I have applied for two 4/10 M-Th jobs and mentioned that would be a great fit for me.If the job is advertised as Mon-Thu, then sure, say your wife is off Fridays so the job is a great fit for you. This may allay fears they may have that you would leave if full-time work becomes available.
But if the job is advertised as a 5 day/week commitment, saying you want Fridays off in the interview generally will eliminate the opportunity right there.
Every other shift and schedule that I have applied for I am just saying I can do it and that I have worked all three, done weekends, etc.
