Investing - Theory, News & General • How often to rebalance when you are in FIRE mode?

We have auto-reinvested/accumulation set. Spend using a credit card and a week before that bill needs to be paid off sell enough of whatever asset is most above its target weighting to cover that bill. Generally twelve sell trades/year. Periodically may make a 'withdrawal' either as part of that month end sell trade, or separately if the cash is needed sooner. Also might sell more than the card bill amount just to top up having some cash in our debit card account. Mostly that is enough rebalancing in itself, however if there has been a uncomfortable drift in weightings then we might also make part of that trading a rebalance event, over-sell the most-up and buy some more of the most-down.
