Real financial advice doesn’t try to scare you. Real financial advice turns complex topics into simple explanations. Real financial advice doesn’t offer predictions; it offers perspective. It shows you the pros and the cons, the costs and the benefits.
That is very actionable. What's your actionable question?
Not in the way that, say, deciding whether to tilt towards value, or tweaking your international exposure, or trying to decide if nominals will outpace TIPS is actionable and will make you richer in 2050 than if you did the opposite....sure, you can come up with arguments for and against any number of questions like that, but in the end there is no good science or statistical method to justify your actions, and you are really just guessing.
Questioning your shibboleths and maintaining perspective in a complex and unpredictable world is not easy. Complexity is, indeed, scary....but it doesn't have to be if you recognize it for what it is. That is what is actionable.
