Maybe that's for cash on the way out. When you use ACH to deposit funds at Schwab, you can trade with it instantly.Then stay away from Schwab. They make their money playing games with uninvested cash, and had the slowest ACH times of any bank or brokerage I've dealt with. I'm sure it's so they could get an extra day or two to float my cash. Fidelity usually pushes to my checking overnight or the next day. Schwab would routinely take a day or two.
6) Not an interface concern, but it bugs me to no end when brokerages impose low ACH transfer limits, or multi-day ACH transfer times when single day ACH transfers are available.
