Personal Consumer Issues • Multiple gas meters. Can I turn any off?

My SFH was previously a multi unit building and as a result has 3 separate gas meters, one for each level. I receive 3 bills and am trying to determine if I need to have all 3 meters on or if I can turn any off to save money.

Basement has a furnace and gas water heater but the bill only reflects 15 therms for one month (unsure why this isn’t higher)

First level has no gas appliances to my knowledge not and bill reflects 15 therms for one month (not sure how to make sense of this)

Second level has furnace and gas dryer and bill reflects ~150 therms for one month (this makes more sense based on usage but still confusing relative to the other meters)

All other appliances are electric.

How can I verify what meter each appliance is hooked up to? My original assumption is that everything would be connected to the meter corresponding to the various building levels but now I’m not so sure. The bills seem to imply that everything may be routed through the second level, but I’m not sure how to verify that.

Is this something the utility company can assist with? A plumber? Or should I just try shutting off the 2 meters with the utility company and see what happens?

Best case situation I can ultimately turn off the 2 meters with seemingly no use and save $100-150/month in delivery charges and taxes.
Suggest leaving it alone.
