This does look fun, although a few concerns.
- I imagine a very high expense ratio (4.98%?! Can't confirm that number.)
- Very volatile, looks like it went from $9 to $100 then back to $20 all in the space of one month.
- Also very concentrated on just one company, about 35% in Space X.
- How are they actually coming up with the value of illiquid shares in privately held companies
- Why trust them to do so honestly when it is in their favor to inflate values?
- What happens during and after the IPO? Do they have to sell all of the Space X shares right away to stay with the goal of only pre-IPO companies? What are the tax implications of this event?
- IPOs don't always do well in their first year, often the best you get is a day 1 pop.
Again fun to watch, I wouldn't put any real money in it.
