Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Picking Apart Medicare Part B: Trauma Related

I find this fascinating. Is it actionable ? Maybe ... but one thing the numbers said to me was that a general Medicare population could be insured only against trauma for a small fraction of the Part B premium cost. If such an insurance existed I would be *really* tempted to opt out of Part B + IRMAA.
There is insurance for this- it's call accident insurance

I'm also going to consider delaying Part B (I know about the penalty) until a later age to give myself time to deplete my IRA without IRMAA
