Thanks all, I found something that could be a great fit that I think we can do on a regular basis. It's a smaller organization so I won't post publicly, but excited to give it a try.
One of my kids is under 10 so that is a bit of challenge if we all want to volunteer. The kidsthatdogood.com is great but unfortunately didn't return any local results. I'll dig around a bit more though.Meals on Wheels (I believe only need be 10+ years to help in the kitchen). More opportunities if older.Any recommendations for volunteer opportunities for a young family that will have a positive impact on the community? Ideally it would be on the weekend and not through a church or politically driven.
A senior center / community / home might welcome kids of a certain minimum age.
