I currently have implemented a 50/10/40 three fund portfolio. Randy Thurman's book was an easy ready and his AWP seems, though a few more fund classes, straight forward, but more heavily invested in equities. He claims it holds steady when being backtested for every 40 year period starting in the 1930s. A little skeptical, I'll run the numbers myself. Dalio's portfolio seemed not for me, prompting the question. Thanks for all the replies.
