Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Who has roadside coverage experience with Chase?

Who do you have auto insurance with - most offer roadside assistance for $1-$2 a month.
I looked into this as an add-on to my car insurance and for what it offers it was not a good value.
Who is your insurer? I'm with Progressive now, I pay $16 a year for two cars, they cover towing 15 miles or the closest shop and all the usual services (lockout, jump start, tire change, etc.) - please do tell what better value offer is out there (AAA certainly isn't it).
I had a friend who had this coverage with State Farm. I was giving them a ride after their car broke down. It took an hour and a half for someone to show up to tow their car. They made multiple calls to State Farm and kept being told that the service call had been placed and the tow company would get there when they got there.

As I noted above, if you want quick service, just call a tow company directly. Any of these AAA/insurance plans are going to be the lowest of the low priority for companies since they aren't getting paid full price.
