Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Large down payment vs investing

After personal savings and a recent sizable gift, my wife (30) and I (31) have $235k to use responsibly towards our first home purchase. We have historically subscribed to the boglehead way of investing in broad mutual funds and letting the money sit until retirement. We are looking to purchase a home in the 350k-375k range. I’m sure interest rates will still be high.
Hello OP,
What state are you in?
What is your rent $$ now?
How much are your total savings beyond the 235k?
Can you be patient or are you just itching to get your own house?
