Hello All,
Fidelity issued me a 1099-R form with an H code, and another one with G code for 2023 for the Megabackdoor Roth rollovers I did from my company 401k to my Vanguard Roth IRA. For 2022 I only received one form with a G code, and I don't think I did anything different this year.
I have the "in plan Roth conversion" feature turned on so that all the aftertax funds I contribute are immediately converted to Roth prior to accruing any gains. I then usually rollover the funds a few times per year to my Roth IRA. Can anyone tell me the implications of being sent both forms?
