I have a lot of credit cards and paying them off every month has got me over 800 credit score. And I’ve got thousands back in bonuses just by making the same purchases I would have otherwise. This is what I though. Wouldn't opening up this many credit card be bad for your credit?Expenses coming up quick are unrelated to credit card churning. Pay your bills and stabilize yourself on a credit provider. Churning is a waste of time and effort and is immaterial financially over the long term and in the big picture. It's false economy. My wife and I have been prolific credit card churners for years, but I've hit a wall where I'm really struggling to find sign-up bonuses that we haven't already taken advantage of in the past, and we have some major expenses (taxes, insurance) coming due quick.
Anyone know of credit cards with sign up bonuses that are "off the beaten path"? In other words, not from common card issuers like chase, boa, amex, etc? For example, a recent one we found was the Penfed pathfinder rewards card.
Or does anyone know which card issuers allow repeated churning? (i.e., we received a sign-up bonus 2 years ago, but now eligible for another?) We've never really done repeat cards, partly because finding the terms & conditions to ensure it's allowed seemed tricky.
