As I consider moving my checking activity to Fidelity, one question I have is how well they stand behind their bill pay service. If you have a payment scheduled for the due date but the vendor charges a late fee, what has been your experience with the Fidelity Inquiry process?

I had a water bill payment through Fidelity that was late once. Customer service was very quick to investigate, and immediately offered to pay any incurred late fees. It was eventually resolved with the payee with no late fee. Fidelity handled it flawlessly.
