Thanks for your reply. I am certainly aware how privileged and lucky I am. I think part of what is holding me back is that I feel I have a responsibility to carry on working and earning that level of income for as long as possible.
But another part of me thinks ‘I might get hit by a bus tomorrow.. life is for living etc..’
I appreciate your thoughts.

This is interesting way to frame it given that you already have "enough." Some might argue that you have a responsibility to step aside and let that opportunity to be spread around the wealth so others can also have a chance at having enough. I'm sure some junior person would jump at the opportunity to fill your role.
If you loved your job or felt you were making a positive impact on the world, I could see feeling like you have a responsibility to keep doing it. I don't think that applies when if the goal is simply to have more money when you have more than enough. But I don't know what you do, perhaps you are saving people, the climate or the world and if so keep at it!
I also feel this acutely as the parent of youngish children (under 8), yet I already know the window has past when they would prefer me all day to friends/school. However the time with them is precious so I don't think I would ever look back and wish I had worked more days or stacked another million when I already had enough to sustain us.
