My "EF" or whatever you want to call it is divided into savings accounts, checking accounts and money market fund, the latter of which is it at Vanguard.
Before money market, I had some of the "EF" in VTEAX municipal bond fund. I was advised that that wasn't a good idea for something I'd need urgently, so I switched instead to VMRXX money market (by the way, let me know if you think VMFXX is better). That generated a $299 capital gain by doing so, which is item 1c in form 1099-B from Vanguard.

Turbotax says that I need to upgrade from Deluxe to Premier for the purposes of schedule D. Should I believe them? If not, what am I supposed to be doing instead?
