Thank you for the reminder to slow down and remain engaged. Fortunately we recognized before going to far that this occupies the "important but not urgent" decision making quadrant rather than "important and urgent". And it is sinking in very quickly that this isn't a grab and go topic like the replacement window forum we dropped in on years ago. I expect we'll become and remain regulars.Take your time, a few weeks/months will not adversely impact your outcome situation at retirement. Keep reading, asking questions here, and building your knowledge so that you have confidence in the financial choices you make. You've started on a new path that will improve your bottom line in 20-30 years, rather than the bottom line of your very costly advisor. That path doesn't end after a few days of exchange on an Internet board, so to reiterate, take your time and if you feel overwhelmed, slow down; focus on one thing that's most important to you in that moment. Then move on to the next thing. The Wiki topic on Prioritizing Investments may help you focus on one thing at a time if the whole picture starts to become overwhelming. But I feel a lot better about being in a place that can help with these questions. It's way too easy to become overwhelmed and look for an easy button out.
Thanks again!
