Thanks for posting this, Buffetologist. I had thought we'd be worse off, but you got me to reconsider filing separately. At our incomes, and w/ the tax brackets exactly 2x MFJ, we'll come out ahead. It looks to me like the only thing we'll lose is possibly the dependent care tax credit. That will be easily offset by what we'll save on the MA tax.
