Interestingly, the President of Dartmouth just announced that it is going back to requiring ACT/SATs for admission.

Link to NYTimes article on this. Very interesting. My perspective is from helping to teach a class of MD/PhD students. Lack of standardized testing has had some negative results in my experiences.
