Personal Finance (Not Investing) • VMFXX and 2023 taxes

I came here for the exact same question. Vanguard notes in the 1099 Consolidated supplement the percentage of U.S. government obligations (which in my state is tax-exempt for state) for all funds I have except VMFXX. Why?

As noted above, the number 49.37% can be found in https://investor.vanguard.com/content/d ... n-2024.pdf.

I compute the U.S. government obligations for any fund no matter how small (e.g., .34% * $742 = $2.52), and I've been doing that for decades.
