Personal Investments • TIAA Traditional for 100% of fixed income?

Although it is low risk, some here would say no risk, with your AA, just me, I would not want 100% in TIAA Trad. My AA is roughly 65/35. In the 35 I have somewhere between a third and half in TIAA Trad. The rest is in an intermediate bond fund, an international bond fund and a TIPS fund. I prefer having some diversification, and if I were in your situation with that high an allocation in non-equities I would not want it all in any one investment. There is some credit risk, although very low, in TIAA as it is a contract with one institution, so why not reduce that risk?

There are probably others here that will chime in, and would be fine with 100%.
