That's odd as when I've done this with Turbotax before, it didn't require giving the Vanguard log-in. Maybe things have changed. If I have to give them the log-in, I'm just going to get the docs myself and enter them manually.
How did you import your data from Vanguard into TT without entering your credentials the last time?

Cheer
When this feature is available, it is noted on Vanguard's cover letter accompanying the tax form.

For example, this paragraph appears on the cover letter to my 2023 1099-R from Vanguard:
Document ID: you will find your Document ID located in the header of the first page of your
tax form. This ID is unique to this tax form and will simplify the upload of your tax information
in a secure manner to various tax reporting applications (Turbo Tax and H&R Block).
(Then my recollection is that there is some sort of question in the import area of the tax software, after you've selected a financial institution from which to import, that asks something along the lines of "Did this financial institution provide you with a Document ID?")

My recollection, which could be wrong, is that the Document ID is available for tax forms generated for Vanguard brokerage accounts (new platform), but is not available for tax forms generated for Vanguard mutual fund accounts (old platform).
