I attempted to use an aggregator but the transaction data just .... Wasn't very good at all. Stuff like duplicate transactions the day things clear and large amounts of reordering, incorrect or annoying to deal with accounts, etc, etc. Brokers are pretty notorious for providing "bizarre" txn data via their APIs
Also for budgeting I don't use them because a lot of the time restraunt bills clear like multiple weeks after the fact (they show up immediately but don't clear until someone goes through and enters in all the tips). I just stick receipts in my purse and enter them manually at least once a week. It doesn't take that long
