He started with about $3 million. Gambled on TSLA options and won - got up the $10 million. Retired and came here for advice on being a boglehead. He ignored all advice and started gambling again with risky trades. Now he has $7million and is 100% invested in a 2x leveraged NVIDIA ETF (NVDL). Every time NVIDIA moves 7% he gains or loses about a million dollars. If NVIDIA falls to $50 a share (the price it was in January) he'll lose most of his money. He's also been using covered calls on his NVDL shares and caping his upside. A terrible risk profile. This thread keeps getting bumped and I don’t have the energy to understand it. What’s at stake here? Can someone give me the TL;DR?
