Daughter's house has a crawlspace. Not in a humid climate, but the winter had the floor much colder than the rest of the house. There were fiberglass batts in-between the floor joists and the dirt floor was covered in plastic. The solution was to encapsulate the crawl space. Basically, the crawl space shares the same inside air as the rest of the house. All the outside vents were sealed off and the fiberglass batts in-between the floor joists were removed. Then the walls were spray foamed on the perimeter. The house is a lot more temperate. It had higher radon readings to begin with and they went up after this so had to install a radon mitigation system.
