In addition, I always thought that willingness was a bogus criteria. Need and ability are the only criteria needed. If you are unwilling to live with the answer then you should recalibrate either your willingness or your goal. Willingness describes your personality, not what has a decent chance of meeting your goals/needs.
I think willingness is only relevant if your ability to take risk exceeds your need to do so. In that case, you have the luxury of selecting the AA within that range that you are most comfortable with, so why not.

Otherwise, your AA is dictated by either need or ability, depending on how lucky you feel. No luxury of willingness coming into play.
Agreed. Kinda what I meant by "within the answer." And, it is possible that the answer exceeds your ability.
