Are these supposed to be negatives?(a) SUVs are for people who need a station wagon, but "sport utility vehicle" sounds cooler.
(b) SUVs are designed to give people a feeling of being big and powerful (for those who need to feel that).
(c) SUVs are categorized as light trucks so they can evade emissions requirements, fuel economy standards, and various safety standards, like they don't need to follow bumper height standards for cars, so SUVs are more lethal to pedestrians.
