Interesting comment. By any chance, were you only on the old mutual fund platform? I did find that one quite simple and functional. The brokerage platform, however, is very difficult for me. And it seems pretty easy to make mistakes on it as well. Im glad I only have to use it a few times a year. For employment reasons, we had to move our accounts to Schwab and Fidelity (we intend to move from Fidelity back to Vanguard after my wife retires).Vanguard is my only data point in terms of Investment-provider websites. I find it functional, and have provided feedback to VG on improvement opportunities. Please provide specific examples of how others in this industry compare to Vanguard in terms of website "quality".For the same reason they have a horrendously bad website - they're cheap. They're like the spirit airlines of the finance world.
I don’t know why so many dislike Vanguard’s website. I personally prefer it among the three. I guess it’s “horses for courses.” I am a buy and hold investor, and prefer a simple interface.
