At that price point, why not go to Cummins? The 5.9L inline six they use is bulletproof -- been around since the 80s in all kinds of heavy equipment and will outlive all of us in a generator spinning at 1800 rpm.

We went with the oldest/reputable largest licensed electrical contractor firm in the state that specializes in commercial/residential Generac systems.
So, there are a lot of important long term factors to consider other than price, for us.
