Because only the people hiring can state that description. And my experience would say when someone claims to be special, they normally aren’t.Why cringe?Any time I read “she’s a uniquely good candidate” I cringe.

In my megacorp, I have run into a bunch of managers who ghost internal candidates. It is baffling how how incompetent some folks in leadership positions are.
